Differ from conventional Rigid PCBs, the Fliexible PCB is designed by using bendable material such as Polymide(PI). On the other hand, the Rigid-Flex PCB is combination of Rigid and Flexible material. Both of them have the flexible or bendable characteristic. Due to its flexibility, the circuitry can be designed to match up with the electronic devices which enable fabricators to adapt the board to fit an existing design.
